No form of identification is required. We simply trust in our community and hope that everyone will be honest.

Yes your child must be present with their parent/guardian.

Each child is provided with 1 high quality toy along with a raffle ticket for a bicycle. We give away toys to the first 2,000 children in line based on age and gender.

Due to large crowds in the past years we highly recommend that you arrive as soon as possible. We have seen crowds grow by 9:00am.

Gifts will be given only to children ages 0-10 years of age on a first come first serve basis.

There will be a designated team checking in and releasing strollers in an organized manner.  You will keep your stroller while in line and will release it upon entering the buildings.

We currently do not have a pick up service. However, the VIA Bus Kelly-Lackland Transit Center is approximately 1/4 of a mile from our location.

Our parking attendants will be wearing bright yellow shirts or a neon yellow vest. They will direct you on where to park.

No snacks or concession stands are available. Please plan to bring snacks with you if your child will require food and water while in line.

We will still have the event. Processing of children will be conducted in our gymnasium area, versus our Heaven’s Gate baseball field.

There are over 40 different teams serving. Here is a list of positions: Event Parking Lot, Gymnasium Usher, Sanctuary Usher, Costume Character, Volunteer Center, Volunteer Childcare, Medical Response Team, Heaven’s Gate entertainment, Decorations, Gift Wrapping, Stroller Station, Toy Warehouse, Bike Warehouse, Distribution Center, Ticket Processing, Clean-up, Facilities, and many more. If you have a preference or a certain skill to communicate, please list it in the Send Us a Message contact form.

You can volunteer for a 9:00am – 1:00pm shift, 1:00pm – 5:00pm shift or stay all day, from 9:00am – 5:00pm.

If you pre-register, your volunteer department lead will contact you with date for our dry run event and overview of event.

If you have not been assigned to a specific team please wear black pants (men) or a black skirt (women), black comfortable shoes and a white shirt. If you are assigned to a team your lead will provide you with the proper apparel.

Yes you can! Please remember to sign in and sign out so that we know that you served the entire time.

Yes! All VIP guest and Business Sponsors will be given the opportunity to hand the gifts to the children face to face. It will touch your heart unlike anything else.
